Jahzara

Jahzara, “The Authorpeneur” is a Gary, Indiana native. She is the author of Contradictions and Luv Don’t Live Here Anymore. Jahzara began her writing journey when she was in the third grade. She recalls that it started when she was placed in the “Wee-One’s” corner after having one too many confrontations with the boys in the classroom. Her third grade teacher really thought that she was punishing Jahzara by putting her in the “Wee-One’s” corner and separating her from the rest of the class. Jahzara wishes to thank Mrs. Smith for providing her with the composition books and her own space in the classroom to be creative.

Jahzara was blessed with having inspirational teachers as she grew up, thus she decided to give back to the community what was given to her. She currently teaches high school in the Gary Community School Corporation. Jahzara is also a certified Clinical Massage Therapist, and the owner of Tranquil Moments LLC — a publishing company that also specializes in health and wellness.

Jahzara lives in Gary, Indiana with her husband and two pretty princesses. Jahzara is a graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington and a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and Authors for Charity.

In her spare time Jahzara enjoys reading, writing, organizing pamper parties, and traveling.
